Management Quota (MQ) at RVCE

RVCE reserves approximately 30% of its total seats for Management Quota admissions. These seats are filled directly by the institution and are NOT part of the state CET (KCET) or government counselling process. This makes MQ admissions available to students from any state in India, not just Karnataka.

Management Quota is ideal for students who: did not get their preferred branch through KCET, are from outside Karnataka, or want to secure admission early without waiting for multiple counselling rounds.

Eligibility for MQ Admission

• Passed 10+2 (PUC/HSC) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects
• Minimum 45% aggregate in PCM (40% for SC/ST categories)
• Valid JEE Main / KCET / COMEDK score (score requirement may vary)
• No upper age restriction for management quota seats
• Students from any state in India are eligible for MQ seats
• Documents: 10th & 12th marksheets, transfer certificate, migration certificate, Aadhaar, and passport photos

CSE and AI/ML are the most sought-after branches under Management Quota at RVCE. These fill within hours of counselling opening. ECE and ISE are the next most popular. We recommend contacting us immediately when MQ counselling opens (typically late June or July) to avoid missing out.
